Initially I thought, wonderful! A collection of all Conrad's works in a medium helpful to people with vision problems. Then I began reading "Romance," and kept coming across sentences that didn't scan and passages that didn't make any sense. I found a copy of the ORIGINAL HARD COPY TEXT of "Romance" and discovered this digital version was a sloppy OCR copy of the book that had not been proofread, and then propagated across the entire Internet, even landing at the Gutenberg project. I'm not talking about occasional typos, but missing phrases and major punctuation errors that seriously obscured Conrad's intent. It seems to me if you're going to create a digital anthology of a great author and charge money for it (and make no mistake, this anthologists is making a pretty penny) the very least you could do is provide a reliable, proofed copy. And what a disservice to Conrad and great literature!Product details

For the price you could not go wrong.
La Plèiade published in his newsletter the contract the have with Conrad and I got interested.
If André Gide loves Conrad it is a no brainer.
This is one of the worlds greatest seafaring writers, a genius. I was a merchant sailor, therefore, I am biased. Conrad was the real thing. I was so impressed with his writing that I named my son for him.
Richness of metaphor in constructing his scenes as well as capturing and expounding on the inner struggles that manifest in the relationships between his characters. Either for studying writing technique or pure enjoyment, the reader is rewarded handsomely for her time.
This ebook indeed comprises all of Conrad's collection, an author whose works are clearly underrated in my opinion.
The Collection was more complete than I expected. Many more hours of pleasurable reading ahead. Amazing literature to have been written by someone who was not fluent in the English language until he was an adult. A clear look at English society and changing colonial attitudes in the years before and after the turn of the 20th century. A must for anyone interested in an accurate look at Western Society's attitudes toward Eastern Culture at the time. Also very informative about sea life at the time.
purports to be a "complete works" sst, but it isn't. missing Heart okf Darkness (!) and the Secret Sharer. poor form.
