Very good on some basics. Very valuable for beginners.
This book is sheer waste of time for unless you don't even know the bare basics of stock market. I was hoping for solid reading materials since I have heard Drew at different stock market seminars and he is a very knowledgable man but none of that translated here. I am surprised.
Easy read, with great information. I found the book to be not to technical and to slow the read or confuse the reader. As an avid reader and student of the markets i found the book to be a very good source of information, and it even pointed out some of the sources that can be used in a quality investment strategy. Anyone from basic beginner to advanced trader can benefit from the information contained simply by reminding everyone of the basics. As Vince Lombardi began each practice he stated "This is a football." All to often we forget our rules and of course our tools. Sometimes others may have different expectations for the books they read regarding the markets, this book hits the mark by helping the reader develop his or her own strategy.
I loved the book for the tips the author shows to initiate your successful trading plan.
The author offers clear explanations of when to enter and exit trades.
I recommend the book
I was hoping to gain a broader perspective on market topics, but this book did not fulfill my expectations.It is a good book for novices, but anyone with market experience would be following the plans outlined
I am a Vestor Vest user. This was no help at all. Book could have been 1 short chapter if the printing had been regular size and no empty pages except for a funny business situation.
Drew Sands is the everyman investor who outlines rules for investing instead of "get rich quick" schemes that tend to dominate the investor advice marketplace. It is very helpful for helping navigate the treacherous waters of Wall Street investing on a personal investor scale.
